Too much amperage will result in blown fuses that stop unit operation (see Technical Specifications for amperage design parameters). Amperage useage is dependent upon the electrolytic solution...too much mineral content will cause an excessive electrical load. The Pulse Wave Modulator has a dial that provides precision amp flow to the generating unit eliminating the possibility of blown fuses and excessive heat buildup. Users report an added benefit from the use of a Modulator...an increase in generator gas output.
